At 8.30 a.m. on Saturday 2nd March 2013, the 4th edition of this vast national operation aimed at cleaning over 1000km of the Loire's riverbanks from the source to the estuary will begin, involving the 12 départements through which the Loire flows. It is organised by the Chasseurs de Loire association with input from countless hunting, fishing, sports, sailors and riders associations.
Several meeting points have been planned in all the départements along the whole stretch.
Anyone concerned by the problems of pollution facing our great river is invited to take part, and will be extended the very warmest of welcomes.
Registration is free and is done on-site. A complimentary coffee will be given to each participant at registration, as well as bags and gloves, and all volunteers will be able to enjoy a glass of wine at the end of the morning.
