The success of La Loire à Vélo has encouraged Ligerian stakeholders to come up with new ways of welcoming these tourists on the move. Examples with Group'Avélo in Pays de la Loire and Accueil Vélo et Rando in Tours.

Group'AVélo

8 accommodation facilities in Pays de la Loire have joined forces to form a reception network for groups of cyclists (from 10 to 80 people). They work on a single-price basis and organise turnkey stays.

Accueil Vélo et Rando

Inaugurated on 8 July 2017, this facility is run by a staff of three and provides everything that hikers and cyclotourists might need: showers, left luggage office, and places to rest, eat, recharge their mobiles or e-bikes, repair their bicycles, and consult tourist and practical information.

Located at 31 Bd Heurteloup, near the railway station and tourist office, it is open all year round (except Christmas), from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. in summer.
