The 1st Loire-et-Cher Heritage Forum is to be held on Wednesday 9 and Thursday 10 May 2012, on the theme “HERITAGE, heritages”. The event is organised by CDDP 41 and the Local Education Authority Directorate for National Education Services, and is aimed at the département’s primary- and secondary-school teachers and pupils.

A range of activities, including lectures, workshops, exhibitions and book fair, are on the programme at Château de Blois and a number of other départemental sites.

Mission Val de Loire is one of the event’s partners and will be presenting two exhibitions at Château de Blois:

“The Loire Navy in the 18^th Century”
“Pleasures of the Loire (1800-1970)”

The educational kit on the landscapes of the Loire Valley World Heritage site will also be presented during the book fair, on Wednesday 9 May at 2 p.m., and a second presentation of the Loire Valley World Heritage site is scheduled for Thursday 10 May at 2 p.m.
