Since 13 November, visitors have been able to admire the new stained-glass windows in Rochecorbon's Notre-Dame Church, which were restored in 2017.
Listed as Historical Monuments in 1926, these windows are more recent than the church itself, the oldest part of which dates back to the 11th century. The stained-glass windows hark back to the latter half of the 19th century and were made at the Tours-based Lobin workshop.
To restore them, the choice was made to create windows comprising coloured diamond-shaped panes and borders, adopting the same design and colours as those of the neighbouring windows.
