In association with the exhibition “Heroes and Wonders of the Middle Ages”, the Abbey of Fontevraud is mounting a series of lectures and special evenings.

Saturday 28 July
15:00- 19:00: Archery – An Introduction and Demonstration
18:00: The Middle Ages and the Cinema: the example of Robin Hood
A lecture by François de la Bretèque
19:30: Medieval Banquet
21:30:Open-air Cinema – Michael Curtiz’s “The Adventures of Robin Hood” with Errol Flynn.

19:00: Tasting of local products.
20:00: Concert “Music from the time of Richard Cœur de Lion” by the “Diabolus in Musica” Ensemble
21:30: Open-air Cinema “Monty Python and the Holy Grail” by Terry Jones and Terry Gilliam.
