The 10th edition of Vignes, vins et randos, organised by InterLoire, put on 15 outings in the vineyards across the Loire Valley. The Mission Val de Loire had asked two geographers to give explanations and commentaries about landscapes in Onzain, Rochecorbon and Cheillé.
Participants thus had the opportunity to learn more about the vine-growing landscapes in the Loire Valley World Heritage with Dominique Boutin, emeritus professor of geography at the Blois National School of Landscape, and Jean-Louis Yengue, professor of geography at the University of François-Rabelais in Tours.
The new interpretation trail "Vineyard and Heritage" was also open to walkers for the first time at this edition, in Blaison-Gohier. This trail has been developed by the Brissac Loire-Aubance Tourist Information Centre.
After two years of working closely with the representatives of each wine appellation, a new communication campaign for Loire Valley wines is now in motion, reflecting the identity of 50 AOC wines, in connection with the Loire Valley.
