The Loire Valley, a land of gardens

The aim of the exhibition is to highlight the significance of gardens in the Loire Valley landscape and to explain how the garden is a key feature shaping this territory and one of the reasons for its listing as a Unesco World Heritage.
The 6 panels making up this exhibition:
- In the Loire Valley, from the Middle Ages
- The Renaissance, for the gardens too
- Open-air palaces and acclimatisation
- Urban, public and sustaining
- Restoring, reconstructing, creating
- The Green Spirit

To mark the "Gardens in the Loire Valley 2017" season, Mission Val de Loire put on 3 travelling "mini-exhibitions" for stakeholders and partners exploring the garden theme, aimed at rounding off the initiative:
