Initially developed in 2007 for PDA, Cyclopédia®, a multimedia guide & GPS for exploring the Loire Valley World Heritage between Gennes and Montjean-sur-Loire, is now available as a mobile application. This smartphone app was designed by Camineo and Anjou Tourisme (County Tourist Board & Federation of tourist information offices in Anjou).
For just 1 euro, this pass gives inhabitants in the Centre Region the opportunity to go back as many times as they like and introduce their friends and family to Leonardo da Vinci's residence and its cultural park. It also offers a discount for people accompanying Leonardo Pass holders.
As the cradle of the Plantagenet dynasty and former capital of the Dukes of Anjou and the "Good King René", the town of Angers is above all the setting for its castle and famous Apocalypse Tapestry. But it is also a town today that showcases a resolutely contemporary architecture in a great many of its neighbourhoods (including Saint-Serge and les Hauts de Saint-Aubin). This guide invites you to come and explore Angers, its history, its museums, its architecture and its landscapes.
