“Vines, Loire, Photos” photo marathon

Sunday 24 June 2012 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. The activity is scheduled to take place simultaneously in 4 Loire Valley vineyards, the aim being to take unusual photographs of Loir Valley winegrowing landscapes. There are stays at the vineyards concerned to be won and the best photos will form the subject of an exhibition entitled “Unusual viewpoints on Loire Valley vineyards”.
Free of charge and open to all, the photo marathon will enable participants to give free rein to their creativity by taking photographs focusing on 5 themes connected with vineyards, wine and winegrowing landscapes, which will be communicated to participants at the last minute.
Activities and tasting sessions are on the programme in each of the vineyards at the end of the day, during submission of photographs.
The activity forms part of a Leader project associating 4 of the Loire Valley’s emblematic vineyards: Nantais, Saumurois, Layon and Touraine. The project will be the subject of a future article.
