New: geolocated information and the “Calendar” newsletter

The www.valdeloire.org website gets better and better, and now enables internauts to geolocate news and events by region, département or urban area. The dedicated pages for each of the website’s 164 listed municipalities also provide users with local information and news on upcoming events. Finally, the new newsletter, Calendar, is back again – so get your subscription up and running!

Geolocated news and information

A “Choose a place” button on the News and Diary pages enables you to filter news and events by region, département or urban area. You can use the filter together with the categories listed in the diary and search by key-word. 

The “Activate/Hide map” function enables you to navigate on a map:

Improved municipality pages

Each municipality in the Loire Valley World Heritage site has its own dedicated page. To access a page, use the search engine, the interactive map listing all municipalities, or enter the postcode via the “You and the Loire Valley!” function. 

Pages supply personalised information on municipalities, including news and upcoming events within a 40-km radius.

“Calendar” Newsletter

Newsletter Agenda

The newsletter is sent monthly during the tourist season (from Easter to All-Saints’ Day). 

It provides information on upcoming events in the Loire Valley focusing on Ligerian heritage or held in outstanding heritage sites. Loire festivals, activities, exhibitions, shows, excursions and visits are all on the menu. See an example
