3rd annual meeting of the Loire Scientific Community and River Managers

On 6th November 2009 in Saint-Etienne, on the theme “Integrated River Management: Valorisation of Research Findings”
As part of the Loire grandeur nature 2007-2013 plan (encompassing 9 French regions and costing around €400 M), the 3 rd annual meeting between the scientific community and Loire operators has a twofold objective: firstly to develop and share a global, fundamental and operational knowledge about the Loire basin, and secondly to enhance this knowledge to make the Loire a European reference on the subject of managing a large river and its catchment area.
Over 300 participants from all over Europe are expected to attend this year.
