Call for Rural Development Initiatives

From 15th February to 15th August 2013, the Centre Region is organising a call for initiatives in the Pays Sologne Val Sud to detect, prompt, try out and support initiatives that have sustainable development firmly in mind.

Regional support will be given to beneficiaries who are leading tangible or intangible investments and projects: associations, private stakeholders, public institutions and local authorities where applicable.

Projects submitted must be connected with at least one of the following three themes:

Innovative economic approaches
Local services
Natural and cultural environment

For the final theme, these might concern networking and promotion actions for landmark built heritage, natural resources or the landscape,whichmake the natural and cultural heritage a key aspect in its own right of economic and social development.

Appel à initiatives ID en Campagne (Pays Sologne Val Sud)

At the end of 2010, the Region adopted this Call for Rural Development Initiatives scheme, which rounds off the Pays Regional Contracts scheme. The Region is earmarking 10% of the “pays regional contract” allocation for carrying out this call for initiatives, launched at intervals to take account of regions' progress in drawing up the regional contract.
