A space presenting the project to the general public has been open at 13 Rue Nationale since Saturday 18 April 2015 and will remain open until the end of July, enabling the city of Tours and SET (Société d’Equipement de la Touraine) to show off the urban project set to transform the entrance to the city from Place Anatole France.
From 1 April to 30 June 2015, Loir-et-Cher’s Maison de la Loire is holding a competition spotlighting the Loire and its relationship, with humankind.
The Balzac Museum - Château de Saché will be presenting new layouts of its reception rooms as from April 2015. Continuing on from the work carried out by the museum’s founder and in partnership with the Mobilier National, Indre-et-Loire General Council is busy reinforcing the premises’ Balzacian identity.
First opened in 1987, Loir-et-Cher’s Maison de la Loire has just been refurbished throughout and reopened its doors in Saint-Dyé-sur-Loire, Chambord historic port, on 16 March 2015. The “Renaissance of the Loire” exhibition leads visitors off in discovery of the Loire, following an hour-long introductory itinerary where nature and culture hold sway in each of the visit’s five rooms or “sequences”.
The partners involved in the Angers Tourism.Lab project undertaken by Angers University aim to make Pays de la Loire a European leader in the fields of academic and applied research on tourism, training in professions linked to the sector, and innovation in tourism companies and tourist destinations.
On 18 April 2015, to mark the beginning of a new adventure after eighteen months of Open Site, Compagnie Off and the pOlau urban arts hub held an inaugural rendezvous for the public at large to explore the new venue’s various potentialities.
